Cialis

For the treatment of erectile dysfunction:

On-demand dosing:

The usual recommended dose is 20 mg taken as needed, at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. Cialis (Tadalafil) has been shown to be effective within 30 minutes of taking the tablet, and last up to 36 hours later. As the amount of time Cialis (Tadalafil) takes to work varies from person to person, starting sexual activity at different times after taking the tablet will determine the optimal time for sexual activity. The maximum recommended amount of medication to take is one tablet a day.

Once-a-day use:

The usual recommended dose is 5 mg per day, taken at about the same time each day and regardless of when sexual activity is planned. The daily dose may be lowered by your doctor if necessary.

Cialis (Tadalafil) may be taken with or without food.

For the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or erectile dysfunction with BPH:

The usual recommended dose is 5 mg once daily, at about the same time each day. It may be taken with or without food.

Many things can affect the dose of a medication that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

It is important that Cialis (Tadalafil) be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take higher doses of Cialis (Tadalafil) than prescribed by your doctor. Contact your doctor if you take a greater dose of Cialis (Tadalafil) than prescribed.

Store Cialis (Tadalafil) at room temperature (between 15°C and 30°C) and keep it out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not dispose of medications in wastewater (e.g. down the sink or in the toilet) or in household garbage. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medications that are no longer needed or have expired.

Staxyn

The usual recommended dose is one 10 mg tablet dissolved on the tongue, at 45 minutes to 90 minutes before sexual activity. The effectiveness of Staxyn (Vardenafil) lasts for up to 8 hours after taking the medication. As the amount of time Staxyn (Vardenafil) takes to work varies from person to person, starting sexual activity at different times after taking the tablet will determine the optimal time for sexual activity. It is not recommended to take more than one dose per day.

The oral-dissolving tablets should be kept in the foil pouch until you are ready to take the medication. Peel the blister pack open as shown on the foil (do not push the tablets through the foil). Place the tablet on the tongue, where it will dissolve with your saliva. Because this tablet is orally dissolving, you do not need to take it with water. Do not split the tablet in half. If you require a dose less than 10 mg, do not use the orally dissolving tablets. Use the conventional tablets instead.

Many things can affect the dose of a medication that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

Staxyn (Vardenafil) may be taken with or without food.

Because alcohol can make it more difficult to get an erection, do not drink large amounts of alcohol before sexual activity. Moderate amounts of alcohol (2 drinks for a 70 kg person) will not interfere with the medication.

It is important to take Staxyn (Vardenafil) exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take higher doses of Staxyn (Vardenafil) than prescribed by your doctor. Contact your doctor if you do take a higher dose of Staxyn (Vardenafil) than prescribed.

Keep Staxyn (Vardenafil) out of reach and sight of children. Staxyn (Vardenafil) should be stored in its original package, at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C.

Do not dispose of medications in wastewater (e.g. down the sink or in the toilet) or in household garbage. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medications that are no longer needed or have expired.
