Blood counts: Buminate (Albumin) can decrease the concentration of red blood cells (which carry oxygen), and platelets (which help your blood to clot). Your doctor will do blood tests to monitor this. If you notice any signs of unusual bleeding or bruising, contact your doctor immediately.
Disease transmission: Buminate (Albumin) is made from human plasma. Products made from human plasma may contain things that can cause disease, such as viruses and bacteria. Heart disease: Buminate (Albumin) may cause symptoms of heart disease to become worse, because it causes an increase in fluid in the blood. If you have a history of Congestive Heart Failure, high blood pressure or other conditions where an increase in the blood volume can may symptoms worse, discuss with your doctor how Buminate (Albumin) may affect your medical condition, how your medical condition may affect the dosing and effectiveness of Buminate (Albumin), and whether any special monitoring is needed.
Kidney disease: If you have a history of reduced kidney function, discuss with your doctor how Buminate (Albumin) may affect your medical condition, how your medical condition may affect the dosing and effectiveness of Buminate (Albumin), and whether any special monitoring is needed.
